Who can participate?

The competition is open to professional chefs from any country around the globe. Whether you’re working in a local bistro, a renowned international hotel, or a top-rated restaurant, if you’re a chef with professional experience, you are eligible to join this global culinary challenge.

How to participate

Submit Your Professional Information: Furnish a detailed professional profile, including your culinary training, work experience, specializations, and distinctions or awards you may have received in the realm of gastronomy.
Submit Your Signature Recipe(s): Provide a unique and original recipe that showcases your culinary expertise. You may enter the competition in one or more of the following categories:

Main Dish: Feature an exemplary main course that highlights your skill and innovation.
Side Dish: Craft a complementary side dish that demonstrates creativity and perfect pairing with a main course.
Rice Dish: Create a standout rice-based dish, infusing tradition with contemporary taste.
Bread Dish: Display your baking talents with a bread dish that is both delicious and original.
Dessert: Conclude with a dessert recipe that offers a memorable finale to any meal, combining flavor, technique, and presentation.

Our jury panel consists of globally recognized Star Cheats who have made indelible contributions to the culinary world. These distinguished professionals bring their extensive knowledge and expertise to the evaluation process, ensuring an objective and prestigious competition.

Selection Procedure

Selection Methodology
Chefs from various corners of the globe are invited to submit their elaborate recipes and detailed descriptions of their dishes or desserts. Drawing upon their collective experience, our jury carefully reviews each entry to determine the best contenders across every culinary category and region.

Chef of the Year Showdown
The standout chefs from each category and region will be invited to participate in an exhilarating live cook-off event. This platform allows chefs to not only present their technical skill and creativity but also to engage in a little friendly competition under the watchful eye of the jury.

Live Competition for Chef of the Year

Alongside our jury, a select audience of distinguished guests will be present. This group typically includes culinary industry veterans, respected non-resident nationals, representatives from Bangladesh Missions abroad, as well as local government officials. All will be given the exclusive chance to savor the dishes prepared by the chefs. This presents a unique opportunity to admire and celebrate the extraordinary talent and culinary artistry of the participants on a global stage.

Global Chef of the Year

Jury Board will select three best performers in each category in each location, they will get an opportunity in participating in a Live Competition in Virgina, USA for Global Chef of the Year.
